This is me...

Hi! I am Şirin Günay.I'm 20 years old.I was born in Nevşehir in 1989 as the first child of my family,but I am from Niğde.I have a sister and a brother who are both students now.My father is a technician and my mum is a nurse.I think a have a great family and I have been brought up by the best parents in the world.

I attended primary school in Nevşehir.Then we moved to Niğde and I continued my education there.After elementary school,I qualified for entering Niğde Anadolu Öğretmen Lisesi.I had a great time there and that school shaped my future.

Now I am at METU.This is my second year here.I was at prep school last year.It was a great experience to attend prep school at METU.I met lots of people from different departments and I really prepared for my department.To study at METU is almost everybody's dream and I am one of the lucky people who have this chance.I love my department and I want to benefit from it as much as possible.I still don't know if I want to be teacher or not but I think I will make certain of it during four years.

I am a happy person generally.I love helping other people and making the poeple around me happy.Talking with my friends feels me great.I love travelling especially going to historical places.Another thing which make me happy is having time in our garden.To be engaged with earth is very relaxing.

My thought about the course is neutral now because all the things we have to do for the course seem a little hard for me but I don't want to be prejudiced against the course so I hope we will enjoy during the semester,develop our writing ability and also I hope we will all get aa...:)
